Ischia. A 41-year-old Russian man was arrested on charges of mistreatment of his partner, a 33-year-old Ukrainian woman, found dead on Sunday morning in Ischia.
The body of Marta Maria Ohryzko was found by the Carabinieri of the Barano station in the Vatoliere area, not far from the caravan where she lived with her partner. The latter had reported her disappearance to the police.
After a long interrogation in the barracks, the man was arrested by order of the Naples Prosecutor's Office on charges of mistreatment. The examination of the body in fact revealed the presence of lesions that could be compatible with either a fall or previous beatings.
At the moment the investigations into the case are still ongoing to clarify the dynamics of the facts and the possible responsibilities of the arrested man.
