Naples. Two men, aged 55 and 50, were reported at large by the Naples Carabinieri Forestry Police for negligent forest fires. The fire, which broke out on June 30, affected an area of ​​approximately one hectare in the Pianura neighborhood of Naples.

The flames, which started on a private property, quickly spread to the surrounding areas, covered with uncultivated vegetation and Mediterranean scrub.

Thanks to specific investigative activities, including the use of cutting-edge surveys such as the "physical evidence" method, the Carabinieri Forestali were able to trace the two perpetrators.

According to the investigation, the fire was caused by the illegal practice of burning brushwood to clear the agricultural land owned by the two men.
