The decision-making Conference of Services expressed a positive opinion on the project of re-functionalization and improvement of accessibility to the Cumana station in Fuorigrotta, Napoli.

Eav, the public transport company of the Campania Region, explained that the project concerns the new location of the technical rooms of the signalling system, known as the Computerised Central Multi-Station Apparatus (ACC-M).
This intervention will also involve the Eav management offices and the surrounding urban area.
The works will last 12 months
The restyling works will include the redevelopment of the Fuorigrotta station on the Cumana line and the ex-Sepsa office building.
In addition, the surrounding public municipal areas will be redeveloped as green spaces and an ecological island will be built with underground bins for the collection of solid urban waste. The works will begin by next December and are expected to be completed in about 12 months.
