Frattamaggiore. Assault and resistance to a Public Official: a 33-year-old Nigerian with a criminal record was arrested yesterday morning in Frattamaggiore by officers from the local police station.
The man, clearly in a state of mental and physical alteration and armed with a knife, was threatening a person inside a house on Via Riscatto.
Alerted by the call, the officers promptly responded to the scene. Not without difficulty, they managed to subdue the man and recover the knife he had discarded.

Even once he was taken to the police station, the 33-year-old continued to maintain an aggressive attitude, lashing out at the officers.
In light of what happened, the Nigerian was arrested for personal injury and resisting a Public Official. Furthermore, he was reported for threats and carrying weapons or objects capable of offending.
