Lightning struck a building during a brief but intense spell of severe weather that swept through the Salerno countryside, causing significant disruption. The incident immediately alerted the local community and prompted rapid intervention by the authorities. A resident, concerned about the incident, contacted the ruling councilor, Salvatore Annunziata.
