Wiretaps have uncovered a bunker containing a veritable treasure trove of 48 valuable watches worth over €5 million and another €4 million in cash. Naples Prosecutor Nicola Gratteri made this statement during a press conference held the day after the joint operation against the Contini clan, addressing the ongoing political controversy over the cost of wiretapping.

"The watches - he explained Gratteri - they can be put up for auction while the money will be made available to the Single Fund for Justice, thus contributing to financing this type of investigative tool."

The search that led to the discovery of the bunker was carried out in a house in the Agnano area of NAPLES, attributable to the son-in-law of the boss Patrizio Bosti: this is Luca Esposito, husband of the daughter Maria, who was also threatened, together with his two sons, to force him to no longer collaborate with justice.
