In Pomigliano d'Arco, from July 4 to September 5, the fifth edition of the "I Nostri Miti Festival Teatrale" will be held. The event, founded by the Vincenzo Ferraro association and conceived by Totò Caprioli, will be directed for the second consecutive year by the director and author Felice Panico. The festival has obtained the patronage of the Campania Region and the Municipality of Pomigliano d'Arco, and is part of the program of summer events of the Municipality.
An Opportunity to Promote Theatre and Culture
“The festival 'I Nostri Miti' represents an important opportunity to promote theater and culture in our territory,” Caprioli emphasized. The festival program is rich and varied, including big names in Italian theater, young emerging companies and shows dedicated to children. According to Caprioli, the mission of the festival is to create moments of meeting and reflection, enhancing the beauty and depth of theater.
Multiplied Theatrical Paths
Felice Panico, at his second artistic direction of the festival, said he wants to multiply the “theatrical paths” of I Nostri Miti. Among the protagonists will be artists such as Giovanni Esposito, Ernesto Lama and Blas Roca Rey, accompanied by promising young companies and shows dedicated to the little ones of the I Nostri Piccoli Miti section. Panico expressed his commitment to the artistic growth of the festival, with the aim of confirming I Nostri Miti as an important theatrical event at a national level.
Opening with Giovanni Esposito
The inauguration of the festival will see the extraordinary participation of Giovanni Esposito, who will present the show “Le Roux Viene Comprato Un Coltello”, written by Enrico Ianniello. The performance will be held at 21 pm at the Giardino Dei Miti in Via Matteo Renato Imbriani 93.
Location and Access to Shows
The festival's performances will take place at the Giardino Dei Miti and in the Invaso Del Parco Pubblico Giovanni Paolo II. All performances will be free of charge until all seats are taken, thus offering a unique opportunity for theater enthusiasts and the entire community to participate in this highly significant cultural event.
