Starting July 16, the University of Naples Federico II opens enrollment for the 2024/2025 academic year. As was the case last year, the University is moving up the enrollment process for new students. Enrollment for subsequent years remains unchanged, starting September 1. Both procedures will conclude on October 31, 2024.
For open access courses, enrolment takes place exclusively online via the Segrepass platform, accessible at www.segrepass.unina.it. Foreign students must instead contact the student secretariats by email to complete the procedure. For degree courses with limited access, the methods and deadlines vary according to the specific regulations of the individual announcements that will be published.
A significant change for the next academic year is the increase in the tax-free area from €26 to €30, a measure designed to support students and their families. The University of Federico II thus continues to offer some of the most advantageous benefits compared to major Italian universities, while maintaining one of the lowest maximum tax rates in the country. To determine the amount of tuition fees, you must obtain the 2023 ISEE certificate from a CAF (tax assistance center) or through the INPS (National Institute of Social Security) portal. You can also submit your current ISEE if your family's financial situation has changed.
Tuition reductions are available for deserving students, calculated based on the credits earned during the academic year. Students enrolling in master's degree programs after graduating with honors from their bachelor's degree program with a mark of 110/100 cum laude, as well as those enrolling with a high school diploma with honors, will benefit from a 50% discount.
Tuition fees will be paid in three installments: the first installment, equal to 60% of the total amount, must be paid by October 31, 2024; the second installment, covering 20%, is due on February 28, 2025; the third and final installment, representing the remaining 20%, is due by April 30, 2025.
