Aiello del Sabato and Pratola Serra, July 2, 2024 - Two separate workplace accidents occurred this afternoon in the province of Avellino, resulting in injuries to two workers.
The first accident occurred shortly after noon in Aiello del Sabato, at a local company. A worker's arm was trapped in a piece of machinery. Firefighters from the Avellino detachment intervened quickly to free him, and paramedics transported him to the hospital. His condition is not particularly worrying.
The second accident occurred about an hour later, at Pratola Serra, along state road 7 bis. A worker got his foot stuck in a forklift while unloading material. In this case too, the firefighters intervened to free him and the 118 paramedics took him to the hospital for treatment. His condition is not serious.
