Overcoming barriers through art and the valorization of talent: this is the aim of INSUPERABILI, an initiative made possible thanks to the contribution of the Municipality of Naples/Welfare Department as part of the "Inclusive Suburbs" project funded by the Presidency of the Council of Ministers/Ministry for Disabilities.
The project was developed by the social enterprise group Gesco, with the artistic consultancy of the musician Massimo Jovine and the communication support of the Cooperativa Nclick.
Activities and Workshops
INSUPERABILI includes awareness-raising activities, creative workshops and a summer festival that will see the participation of important names in the national music scene. The project is aimed at 45 young people and adults with disabilities in the territory of the IV Municipality of the Municipality of Naples (Poggioreale, Vicaria, San Lorenzo, Zona Industriale), with the aim of involving them in workshops that highlight their artistic skills.
Courses Offered
The search for people to include in the path is currently underway, after which the three free courses foreseen by the project will start. The courses will be open to a maximum of 15 participants each and will deal with music, theater and storytelling. The lessons will begin in December 2024, will be held twice a week in Poggioreale at the Gesco headquarters (in via Vicinale Santa Maria del Pianto, 36 tower 1 floor 9) and will have a total duration of 4 months.
