Two projects in Cilento to establish a school for the digitalization of exhibition spaces and in August the exhibition “My Maradona” by Sergio Siano, which will also be exhibited inside the Courthouse in November Napoli.
They are among the new projects in the pipeline for Kaos 48, the cultural association based in the Centro Direzionale at Area Lab35 (via Giovanni Porzio 4). A multicultural space born from an idea by Stefano Nasti and Fabrizio Scomparin for the relaunch of the area designed by the Japanese architect Kenzo Tange.
From photography to cinema, from painting to theatre, the commitment of Kaos 48 for the urban regeneration of the area around the central station continues with new projects. Also scheduled is a series of events linked to figures who have made the history of Naples and its culture, such as Eduardo De Filippo, whose death will be 31 years old on October XNUMXst.
Many initiatives this year have seen the association involved in the project of redevelopment and rebirth of the Centro Direzionale. «After “An Aperitif in Area”, the vernissage inaugurated in January with the intent of giving life to a project of selling photographs and works of art;
“Totò fa… Centro” in February, an imaginary walk by Totò from the historic center to the industrial area, with the exhibition of numerous photographic contents from the Sergio Siano Photographic Archive, but also films, objects, books, writings and songs curated by Kaos 48; and again, “Nulla è cambiato” in March, a photographic exhibition by Stefano Renna on the occasion of the twentieth anniversary of the death of Annalisa Durante;
the spring-inspired “Liberty&Glicine” photography contest launched in April with the awards ceremony in May;
and at the end of June the first of six shows as part of the “Affabulazione” festival of the Municipality of Naples, dedicated to illustrious figures of Neapolitan culture and art, we are preparing to face new challenges – explain Nasti and Scomparin – with a view to the urban regeneration of the place where Area Lab35 is based.
