In a series of intense raids, the Carabinieri have dealt a heavy blow to small-time local drug dealers, dismantling ingenious hideouts and seizing significant quantities of drugs.
The operation, conducted with the valuable support of the Carabinieri Helicopter Squadron of Calabria, led to the arrest of several individuals already known to law enforcement.
Among them, a 41-year-old from Sant'Antonio Abate, found in possession of 15 doses of crack cocaine carefully hidden inside an innocuous aspirin container, a hiding place as banal as it is effective.

The operation, in addition to dealing a severe blow to drug trafficking, also allowed five young drug users to be reported to the Prefecture, offering them the opportunity to embark on a path of recovery and social reintegration.
The message sent by law enforcement is clear: the fight against crime and drug dealing continues unabated, and those guilty of these crimes will find no escape.
