A green space between Nola and Marigliano, specifically on Via Bosco del Gaudio, has become the scene of environmental devastation. What was once a lush natural space has been transformed into a graveyard of stolen, dismantled, and burned cars. The report came from a concerned citizen, who brought the issue to the attention of Francesco Emilio Borrelli, MP for the Green Left Alliance.
"We have asked for urgent remediation interventions," said Borrelli, "And we've submitted a request to install surveillance cameras. Too many isolated areas are used to hide stolen goods and, above all, to commit environmental crimes."
The situation is particularly critical not only because of the resulting pollution, but also because of the serious consequences these actions have on the quality of life of residents in the surrounding areas. "The implementation of video surveillance systems is the first step, necessary and simple to perform, to combat these phenomena," added Borrelli.
