These are the most visited museums in 2023, all up compared to 2022. The data, presented this morning by the Minister of Culture, Gennaro Sangiuliano, and the Director General of Museums, Massimo Osanna, were collected and processed by the Statistics Office of the General Directorate for Budget of the MiC, in collaboration with the General Directorate for Museums.

5) Accademia Gallery in Florence: 2.013.914 visitors (+40,99%)

8) Royal Palace of Caserta: 934.029 visitors (+33,59%)
9) Hadrian's Villa and Villa d'Este: 748.656 visitors (+37,74%)
10) Vittoriano and Palazzo Venezia (the figure does not include entrances to the Vittoriano route and free visit): 639.744 visitors (+36,41%)
