The Vincenzo Agnesi Foundation, together with the National Museum of Pasta Food, is the official partner of the 54th edition of the Giffoni Film Festival. The event saw the foundation actively support the Giffoni Food Show, an event dedicated to Food Ambassadors, with the creation of two culinary activities: a culurgiones workshop with chef Ylenia Parente and the cooking show by Fabio Amato, known as “La cucina di Fabiuccio”.
Culinary Activities at Giffoni Film Festival
On July 23, the Agnesi Foundation organized a “Fresh Pasta Workshop” with renowned chef and creator Ylenia Parente. The chef, winner of the First Handmade Pasta Championship, guided the Food Ambassadors in the art of culurgiones, a traditional Sardinian dish. Parente expressed great satisfaction in seeing the enthusiasm of the participants, underlining the importance of transmitting passion and love for cooking to the new generations.

The president of the Vincenzo Agnesi Foundation, Prof. Alberto Falini, expressed pride in participating in the event. “These initiatives are perfectly aligned with the objectives of our Foundation, which aims to enhance pasta as a cultural element of our country and to promote the values of a correct and healthy diet among the new generations,” said Falini.
Upcoming Events and Projects
The next appointment with the Agnesi Foundation is scheduled for Saturday, July 27 at the Monumental Complex of San Francesco in Giffoni Valle Piana. On this occasion, the food creator Fabio Amato, known as “La cucina di Fabiuccio”, will hold a show cooking on the flavors of Mediterranean cuisine.
In addition, the Foundation will soon open registrations for the “National Museum of Pasta Food Award” (XXV edition). The competition, entitled “I am pasta. Heritage of Italian cuisine,” aims to promote the culture of Italian pasta and includes four categories: Education, Journalism, Videoclip and Photography. Participation is free and there are cash and symbolic prizes up for grabs, with the possibility of publication in specialized newspapers and magazines.
