Thanks to the maxi-amendment presented by Councilor Pasquale Sannino approved by the City Council during the discussion of the 2023/2025 budget, it will be possible to build 10 raised pedestrian crossings.

In close synergy with the Presidency of Municipality 7 (Miano Secondigliano San Pietro a Patierno), led by Antonio Troiano, the municipal Technical Offices, the Local Police and ANM, the company carrying out the installation work, the projects and related metric calculations for the implementation of this ambitious road safety and prevention project were completed in record time.

The colored asphalt crossings , complete with vertical and horizontal road markings, will be installed primarily in high-traffic areas, such as schools, public parks, and high-traffic roads. This project will improve road safety and protect pedestrians from the risk of accidents.

The main objective is to promote greater visibility for pedestrians and reduce vehicle speed, creating a safer environment for all road users. This measure has been well received by the community, who hope that this initiative will help reduce road accidents and promote greater awareness of road safety.
