Yesterday afternoon, the ceremony that saw Major General Antonio Jannece hand over the Command of the Campania Carabinieri Legion to Major General Canio Giuseppe La Gala.
Sealing the passing of the baton was General Marco Minicucci, Interregional Commander of the Carabinieri “Ogaden”.

Having accepted the assignment, these are the words of the General The Gala:
“We must always pay special attention to the most vulnerable categories, the elderly and the young, to consolidate the image of the “friendly” uniform, worn by the “Carabinieri of the people”, as Pope Francis defined us in the past, wanting to underline that bond with citizens founded on solidarity, trust and dedication to the common good.
“I will be by your side”, the new Commander of the Campania Carabinieri Legion continued, “to support you in your difficulties, carrying out my tasks with absolute dedication, enthusiasm, passion, determination and without sparing energy, basing my work on 4 pillars: listening, transparency, planning and competence.
Addressing my Carabinieri: I begin this new experience with the desire to contribute with all of you, men and women, to continue to increase the trust that citizens have in the Institution, so that they find in us the safe point of reference to turn to in times of difficulty to be able to report and denounce all situations that could jeopardize the safety of this splendid Region.”
