Yesterday afternoon, in fact, the officers of the Pianura Police Station, during a routine territorial control service, foiled a theft and arrested three criminals.
While passing through Via Provinciale Napoli at the corner with Via Provinciale Montagna Spaccata, the police officers noticed a car proceeding at high speed.
The driver, at the sight of the patrol car, accelerated sharply in an attempt to evade control.
One was born chase which wound through several city streets, with the fugitives carrying out maneuvers that were dangerous for traffic.

The police, with the help of a patrol car from the San Paolo Police Station, managed to reach and stop the criminals in Via Agnano Agli Astroni.
During the check, the officers found inside the car a 10 cm knife and a bag containing a wallet, a cell phone, keys and some documents.

The investigations allowed to ascertain that the three, shortly before, had punctured the tire of a vehicle in via Montagna Spaccata.
Taking advantage of the driver's distraction while he was changing the wheel, they stole his wallet.
The arrested, all Neapolitans with police records, are three men aged 45, 49 and 56. They will have to answer for resisting a public official and aggravated theft. The stolen goods were returned to their rightful owner.
