As part of the control operations organized by the Naples Local Police Command, the Environmental Protection Unit conducted a series of checks aimed at verifying food safety and the origin of food products sold in the city.
During a check carried out in a minimarket in via Poerio, the agents seized bottles of counterfeit extra virgin olive oil, sold to the detriment of consumers, configuring a fraud in commerce. The business owner has been reported to the judicial authorities for commercial fraud and the sale of products with false markings.
