Salerno. The Carabinieri of the operational section of the Salerno company arrested a man from the hinterland of Torre Annunziata on charges of drug dealing and death as a consequence of another crime.

The man, placed under house arrest, is considered responsible for the death of a 51-year-old from Salerno which occurred in February 2021.
The investigations revealed that, despite the victim's precarious health conditions, the suspect did not hesitate to give him cocaine, causing his acute and fatal intoxication.
In addition to the arrested person, three other accomplices have been hit by precautionary measures: obligation to reside in the municipalities of residence. All four suspects are accused, to varying degrees, of drug dealing.
Three other accomplices are being investigated with the pusher and are only being charged with drug dealing.
The Carabinieri operation represents a severe blow to drug trafficking in the area and demonstrates their commitment to fighting this serious phenomenon, which unfortunately still causes too many victims.
