An unusual seizure of weapons in a police blitz in Scampia: a revolver complete with a Wild West-style cowboy holster. But not only that.The seizure this morning in a joint operation of the Flying Squad and the Scampia Police Station, with the support of several specialist units of the State Police and the Fire Brigade, and which led to thearrest of a 31-year-old Neapolitan and the seizure of large quantities of drugs.
The searches, carried out in the Scampia neighborhood and in particular in the “Don Guanella” district and Lotto P of via Ghisleri known as the Smurfs' Houses, allowed the following to be found:

- A replica gun
A Beretta pistol case
A belt with holster
Dark suits and accessories for disguise
Full-face helmets
A high-powered motorcycle stolen with a system to hide the license plate
850 grams of drugs including cocaine, hashish and marijuana
300 grams of drugs (found in the 31-year-old's home)
A precision scale
Drug packaging material
- A replica gun
The man, already known to the police, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotic substances.
In addition, two people were reported for receiving stolen goods after being caught with counterfeit luxury watches and a strap.
The operation is part of the activities to combat organized crime and drug dealing, intensified by the State Police in the area.
The investigations continue to ascertain any responsibilities of accomplices and to reconstruct the origin of the drugs and weapons.
