Naples. This morning, a joint operation by law enforcement agencies led to the eviction of 6 illegally occupied apartments in the Rione San Francesco, better known as Rione Amicizia, in the San Carlo all'Arena neighborhood of Naples.

The intervention
Attention was focused in particular on block 12 of via Giusso n.17, adjacent to via Filippo Maria Briganti, known for being a stronghold of the family Contini-Bosti, a Camorra clan linked to the Secondigliano Alliance, one of the most powerful criminal organizations in the city, rival of the Mazzarella Clan.
The investigations, conducted by the Flying Squad, the Carabinieri Investigative Unit, the Guardia di Finanza Rapid Response Group and the Local Police - Asset Protection Operations Unit, allowed the identification of 6 illegal occupants with presumed ties to organised crime.
The accusations
The defendants were charged with invasion of land and buildings. The clearing operation involved the use of Fire Brigade and technicians from the Municipality of Naples.
