Safety at work, a partnership is born between the Vanvitelli University Hospital Company and Inail

From the corridors and operating rooms to the training rooms, to affirm the concept that job security that's all. Just in these days (Tuesday 25th June) the Luigi B. University Hospital was held Vanvitelli di Napoli the first edition of the general training course intended for employees that completes the training activities in the field of health and safety protection in the workplace; in accordance with the provisions of the State-Regions Agreement of 21/12/2011 and subsequent amendments

A completely new aspect, the Strategic Management of the University Hospital Company wanted to create this course by taking advantage of the technical-scientific collaboration of Inail (Campania Regional Management) through the stipulation of an agreement signed by the General Director Ferdinando Russo and the Regional Director of the Institute, Daniele Leone. The group of Inail experts, composed of Adele Pomponio (Vicar Regional Director of Campania), Carmine Piccolo (Inail Campania researcher) and the officials of the training and communication process, highlighted the fundamental role that training plays in the field of health and safety at work, enhancing the educational process through which it is possible to transfer to workers knowledge and procedures useful for acquiring skills for the safe performance of their respective tasks in the company and for the identification, reduction and management of risks.

"Ours is the first health company in Campania with which Inail collaborates actively and directly - explains Ferdinando Russo -. The Institute has always been committed to combating the tragic phenomenon of deaths at work and it seemed natural to us, therefore, to ask Inail to avail ourselves of the technical-scientific collaboration for study, design and delivery of training courses with high quality standards, in its primary function of protecting work and reducing the phenomenon of accidents committed to promoting and activating specific interventions aimed at improving the safety conditions of workers".

The General Management of the University Hospital Company not only expressed thanks for the availability received from the Inail Campania Regional Management, but also and above all the recognition of the fact that this cooperation "will be a determining element not only to implement knowledge, but also a fundamental one to nourish the culture of people in the healthcare context and consequently ensure relevance and ability to respond to patients' expectations, contributing to affirming a new identity of training, understood as full development of its qualities and potential".
