A 13 year old boy from Recco has stabbed a fourteen-year-old in the leg, abdomen and hip.
It happened overnight in Sori, in the metropolitan area of Genoa. According to reports, the boy left his home with a switchblade in his pocket. The attack occurred near the parish field.
Emergency medical services and the Sori Red Cross arrived on the scene and stopped the bleeding, transferring the boy to the San Martino hospital in Genoa where he underwent delicate surgery but his life is not in danger.
Carabinieri from the Santa Margherita Ligure branch arrested the thirteen-year-old, who was released into the custody of his parents. According to reports, the "settling of scores" between the two boys arose over a "like" the injured man allegedly gave to a photo posted on social media by a young girl.
