Casal di Principe. Criminals broke into the home of Antonio Cosentino, a businessman and brother of former Undersecretary Nicola Cosentino, on Via Corelli in Casal di Principe.
Taking advantage of the owner's absence, the thieves stole a large amount of loot, including cash, jewelry, a computer, and several legally held guns.
A judicial past
Antonio Cosentino had already been implicated in an investigation in 2014, along with his brothers Nicola and Giovanni, for alleged irregularities in fuel sales. Accused of obtaining favors from public officials for the opening of new plants, Cosentino he had been acquitted on appeal after a first-instance conviction.

Cosentino currently lives in San Tammaro and dedicates himself to producing and selling wine. The burglarized home belongs to his ex-wife, Tina Di Caterino.
Law enforcement is working to identify those responsible for the theft and recover the loot. The investigation will also focus on any possible connection between the theft and Cosentino's criminal record.
