The right arm of 'Diabolik' captured in Dubai. Dorian Petoku, a well-known Albanian drug trafficker and close collaborator of Fabrizio Piscitelli, was arrested by the Financial Police in Dubai.

Dorian Petoku is the Albanian drug lord and friend of Fabrizio Piscitelli, the 'Diabolik' of the Lazio Curva Nord killed with a gunshot on 7 August 2019 -, was arrested by the Guardia di Finanza, on behalf of the District Anti-Mafia Directorate of Rome, in Dubai where he had taken refuge after escaping from the rehabilitation community of Nola, in the province of Naples, where he had been transferred by the judicial authorities despite the contrary opinions of the Rome prosecutor's office.

He was in the United Arab Emirates after escaping, in December 2023, from a rehabilitation community where he had been held in execution of a prison sentence handed down to him, in the first instance, for international drug trafficking in the 'Grande Raccordo Criminale' trial.
The operation is the result of international cooperation promoted by the GICO specialists of the Economic and Financial Police Unit of Rome, with the support of the Officer of the Expert Security Corps at the Italian Embassy in the United Arab Emirates (Abu Dhabi), under the constant coordination of the Capitoline DDA.
As part of the cooperation, detailed information on the location of the drug trafficker was shared with the Emirati counterparts, thus facilitating his tracking down carried out directly by the UAE Police. Dubai (Most Wanted Person Department Dubai Police).
Despite his escape to foreign territory, the Guardia di Finanza has acquired several elements of knowledge on the movements and location of the escapee, and has held specific and effective discussions with the competent collateral bodies. Petoku, arrested, at the end of the relative extradition process, will be accompanied to our country where he can serve the prison sentence received.
