A frightening night for a family from Puglia returning from vacation on the A16 Naples-Canosa highway.
Their car caught fire near the Vallata toll booth, in the province of AvellinoThe occupants barely had time to get out before the flames, coming from the engine compartment, engulfed the vehicle.
The Fire Department intervened and put out the flames and secured the roadway. The occupants, who left from Benevento and were headed to Foggia, were very scared, but fortunately without any consequences.
