Avellino. The father and his two children, aged 5 and 10, were found around midnight. They had been missing since late yesterday afternoon in a mountainous area in the municipality of Pietrastornina, in Toppo del Monaco, in the Avellino province.
Another misadventure for hikers in the Partenio woods, in the Roccabascerana and Pannarano areas. This time, a father lost his bearings while exploring the dense vegetation with his two children in the early afternoon.
When they didn't return, the children's wife and mother raised the alarm and began a search. Firefighters from the Avellino and Benevento provincial headquarters responded promptly, given their location on the border between the two territories.

With the help of TAS (topography applied to rescue) techniques, the rescuers began the search operations.
The trio was found in the woods around midnight, marking the end of the emergency. Fortunately, all are in good physical condition, although weakened by the ordeal.
