The Carabinieri of the Caivano Company, in a joint operation with the soldiers of the Campania Regiment, dismantled a home drug dealing square, arresting a 19-year-old local already known to the police. The operation, which saw intense search activity in the streets of Caivano and Grumo Nevano, ended with the arrest of Antonio Falco.
The young man had transformed an apartment into a drug dealing point. During the raid, the 19-year-old attempted to hide a box on the terrace, but was promptly stopped by the Carabinieri. Inside the container, drugs and weapons were found. The seizure involved a 7,65 caliber Beretta pistol with the serial number erased, a revolver, six doses of hashish for a total of 14 grams and 115 euros in cash.
Falco was transferred to prison, while the weapons will undergo ballistic tests to determine whether they are connected to other crimes or crimes involving crimes. Meanwhile, in Grumo Nevano , the Carabinieri discovered drugs hidden in the common areas of the public housing blocks on Corso Garibaldi. Inside a fire alarm system box, they found 525 grams of marijuana and 80 grams of hashish, which were promptly seized.
