Weather, abnormal heat in Italy also next week

Next week will continue to be characterized by abnormally warm temperatures, with temperatures reaching 35-37°C in the shade, keeping Italy under a blanket of heat.

According to meteorologists, average temperatures will be 5-6°C higher than seasonal values. A significant change could come only in 10 days.

The African anticyclone remains strong, and in the next few hours, peak temperatures of 37°C are expected in Florence, 36°C in Ferrara, Grosseto, Pistoia, Prato, Taranto, and Terni, and 35°C in Arezzo, Benevento, Bologna, Bolzano, Caserta, Forlì, Livorno, Lucca, Mantua, Oristano, Padua, Rome, Rovigo, and other cities.

Despite decreasing daylight hours, the heat will persist over the weekend. Saturday and Sunday will see peaks of 38-39°C in Sardinia, up to 37°C in Oristano, 36°C in Caserta, Ferrara, Florence, and Terni, and 33-34°C in Milan. This is 5-6°C above the seasonal average.
