Building abuses in a restricted area of the Cilento, Vallo di Diano and Alburni National Park, in the Salerno area: seizures and reports in two separate operations.
The Carabinieri of the Park Nucleus of castellabate, in collaboration with the Anti-Abuse Office, carried out the precautionary seizure of a residential property in Castellabate.
The seizure occurred because work had been carried out in violation of the building permit held, resulting in both internal and external completion of the entire building, substantially modifying it, and external improvements, such as fencing, railings, gates, terraces, and canopies, and the division of a property into multiple units.
According to investigators, the entire incident was carried out without a landscape permit and in violation of the Cultural Heritage and Landscape Code. The owner and client of the seized property has been reported.

Furthermore, in Castellabate, by order of the Vallo della Lucania Public Prosecutor's Office, an area was seized (falling within Zone B of the general oriented reserve of the definitive perimeter of the National Park and within the integral conservation zone of the Cilento-Coastal Landscape Plan and subject to other and additional environmental restrictions).
On which, through earthworks and fill, compromising the hydrogeological structure and naturalistic profile of the area, a path with steps and wooden handrails had been created which, from the road above, sloped down to the beach of the state-owned maritime property, occupying a part of it.
This, again, was all done in the absence of the necessary building, landscape, and environmental permits, which is why three individuals—the owner of the area and those who commissioned the illegally constructed works—were reported.
