Three children aged 2, 4 and 7 were slightly injured last night in San Sebastiano al Vesuvio (Naples) due to the failure of some pistons on a ride where they were playing. The accident occurred inside an amusement park while the children were on a "Mini Volo di Rondine" ride with cabins shaped like hot air balloons. The pistons failed, causing the cabins to rapidly fall to the ground.
The children were immediately transported to Santobono Hospital but were discharged with a prognosis of three to five days. Carabinieri from the San Sebastiano al Vesuvio station responded to the scene on Via Falconi. The carousel was seized, and the Carabinieri are investigating.
