Naples. More than a year after the publication of the ranking of suitable candidates Asia Napoli S. p. A. for the hiring of the first workers and apprenticeships to be included in the company's organizational chart, after the hiring of the first profiles, the progress of the ranking is effectively stopped, despite the numerous retirements that have already occurred.
The company, evidently incapable of managing its own policies, faced with this scenario, still allows itself the luxury of outsourcing and contracting out some collection services, such as that for paper and cardboard, an issue already addressed by some city councilors who have proven to be more sensitive to the question.
The Unione Sindacale di Base has long been denouncing the lack of staff within Asia Napoli in relation to the needs of the Municipality of Naples, believing that ASIA is understaffed by over 2000 units, which has enormous repercussions on the city, which continues to experience emergencies for ordinary waste collection and to which is added a lack of extraordinary cleaning due to the numerous events in the city and the ever-increasing presence of tourists.
Outsourcing services, among other things, cost the company more than the hiring itself, so it is a huge mistake to refer the problem to an economic question.
The problem is political. The time for lies is over.
We must immediately hire all eligible workers still on the ranking list to complete the actual workforce required for the service, and then proceed with the immediate internalization of all those workers currently outsourced.
For these reasons, USB supports and endorses the struggle of the workers on the Asia Napoli S. p. A. ranking list who were in the square this morning to claim the sacrosanct right to employment through immediate advancement of the ranking list.
