Naples. Mario Eutizia, a 48-year-old Neapolitan, made a shocking confession yesterday afternoon when he appeared at the Caserta police station, admitting to the deaths of four people he had cared for.
According to what was declared to the public prosecutor Annalisa Imparato of the Santa Maria Capua Vetere public prosecutor's office, Eutizia killed the elderly people entrusted to her care by administering anti-tumor drugs to them.
The confessed murders occurred at different times: the first on March 4, 2024 in Vibonati, the second in December 2023 in Casoria, while two other crimes date back to 2014 in Latina, with victims yet to be fully identified.
Eutizia, - as Cronache di Napoli reports - originally from the Maddalena area of Naples, explained that she acted "out of empathy." "I wanted to turn myself in so that someone would stop me. I'm afraid to continue. If I had continued working in this sector, I would have done it again." he told the magistrate.

Investigations to ascertain the veracity of his confession
The police are now investigating to ascertain the truth of his statements and to reconstruct the entire affair.
