Fried Pizza

It is impossible not to start from theundisputed icon of Neapolitan street food: the fried pizza. This product of Neapolitan culinary art consists of a very simple and golden dough, which like a casket encloses tomato and mozzarella. However, it can be found in different variations, many of which include the use of cured meats (especially salami) or other types of cheese. Passing through Naples necessarily implies enjoying this gastronomic marvel, known and renowned throughout the world almost as much as its classic cousin.

The “Cuoppo”

This is a street food that is defined as the “King” of the city, and rightly so. In fact, these are small and varied fried foods wrapped in a paper cone, which makes them ideal for eating while out for a walk. The elements that can make up the cuoppo are very varied, from simple potato croquettes to savory zeppole, up to mini arancini and courgette flowers. However, those who are not fond of these types of foods can always veer towards frying of paranza, another element that can be inserted inside the cuoppo and which is always highly appreciated.

The Pasta Omelette

Altra purely Neapolitan wonder that blends the Italian tradition of pasta with Naples' love for fried foods, creating a truly satisfying combination of flavors. This icon of Neapolitan street food can be made with various types of pasta and is placed in a wrapper that transforms it into a delicious snack for everyone and to be enjoyed at any time. Frittatine can also be found inside the Cuoppo, but to enjoy them at their best it is advisable to buy them individually.

Little loaf

A typicality that certainly cannot be excluded in a gastronomic tour in Naples. It is about large loaves filled with cold cuts and cheeses, extremely delicious and particularly greasy.  There is also a variant of this street food that includes meatballs inside.
