The disinfection, disinfestation, and rodent control operations at Caivano school buildings, organized by the Municipality's Extraordinary Commission and carried out by the Local Health Authority (ASL NA2) in collaboration with the Environmental Office, concluded today. This operation, essential to ensuring hygiene and public health, was welcomed by Commissioners Filippo Dispenza, Simonetta Calcaterra, and Maurizio Alicandro, who expressed their appreciation for the ASL's effective intervention.
The Commission also announced the resumption of ordinary and extraordinary maintenance work on the municipality's schools after the summer break. Thanks to funds made available by the Ministry of the Interior to municipalities affected by organized crime infiltration, significant projects have been undertaken, including the replacement of old diesel boilers with modern gas boilers.
This measure will not only improve energy efficiency, but will also prevent the frequent thefts of diesel fuel that have caused numerous problems in the past, ensuring adequate climate comfort in classrooms. The commissioners, with the support of ministerial resources, are working to ensure that schools Caivano are ready to welcome students and staff in a safe environment.
