Fear erupted in the heart of Naples' historic center. In the early afternoon, a powerful explosion devastated an apartment located on Vico della Pace, in the Forcella neighborhood. According to initial reports, the explosion was caused by a faulty gas cylinder, which caused the collapse of an attic inside the apartment. Three people were seriously injured as a result of the incident.
Firefighters immediately reached the area, working to secure the structure and prevent further collapses. Meanwhile, 118 paramedics provided first aid to the injured, whose condition remains critical and is still being assessed.

Local authorities are monitoring the situation, but the firefighters have already reassured the residents of Fork stating that, for now, there would be no further structural risks to nearby homes.
