Frattamaggiore. A man demands money for drugs and returns armed with a 32-centimeter knife. Luckily, the Carabinieri were there.
The Operations Center informed the Carabinieri of the Caivano company of a domestic dispute in Frattamaggiore. The Carabinieri of the Grumo Nevano station intervened and contacted the victim, a 51-year-old woman from the area.
The woman had just argued with her son, a 30-year-old, over the usual requests for money to buy drugs.
While the military listens the woman to better understand the situation, the son returns to the car, parking nearby and showing an aggressive attitude. Without hesitation, the man takes out a hacksaw knife with a 32-centimeter blade, intending to attack the mother.

The Carabinieri intervened immediately, disarming and immobilizing the 30-year-old after a brief struggle. The man was arrested for mistreatment of the family, personal injury and resisting a public official, and is now in prison. The knife was seized.
The carabinieri, after being treated for some minor abrasions, were able to return to their families.
