A 62-year-old man, resident in Naples, was riding his moped in the reserved lane of the tunnel in the direction of Fuorigrotta, coming from Piazza Sannazaro.
For reasons yet to be determined, the man lost control of the vehicle and fell heavily to the ground.
The man died while being transported to the hospital
Due to the serious injuries he sustained, he was rushed to the "A. Cardarelli" hospital with a red code, where doctors unfortunately confirmed his death.
The judicial authority, informed of the incident, ordered the seizure of the vehicle and the release of the body.
