This morning, the military of the Naples Naval Air Operations Department found in Mergellina a vessel stolen from the port of Salerno during the night of August 12.
The searches were triggered following the complaint filed by the owner at the Naval Operations Section of the Guardia di Finanza in Salerno.
The military personnel of the Neapolitan naval unit, immediately informed of the theft, during an economic control service of the coast, found the vessel while it was being hauled up with a crane on board a truck.
The discovery was possible thanks to the timely examination of the GPS track on board.
