At the regional level, the number of Campania municipalities that have implemented the tourist tax has grown in the five-year period 2019-2023, from 44 to 59. Of a total of 550 municipalities in Campania, 328 are eligible for the tourist tax, but only 18% of these have decided to exercise this option.
