New documents and records acquired in the context of the “Dolce Vita” investigation, on contracts and assignments of the municipality of Avellino, which last April 18th led to the arrest of the former mayor, Gianluca Feast still under house arrest.
The Carabinieri and Guardia di Finanza, in plain clothes, took from the offices of the Municipality the documentation relating to various public works contracted by the Festa administration, including street furniture, the redevelopment of Corso Umberto and the former convent of San Generoso, now the headquarters of the Municipal Police Command.
The investigators also had an informal meeting with Mayor Laura Nargi. According to what has been learned, the Prosecutor's Office of Avellino, led by Domenico Airoma, could request an immediate trial for Festa and the other defendants within the first half of September, a few days before the Court of Cassation rules, on September 18, on the revocation of house arrest for the former mayor.
