Juve Stabia, draw in Catanzaro with VAR mockery. Pagliuca: "Goal disallowed took something away from us mentally"

Juve Stabia wins an important point at ceravolo, holding Catanzaro to a 0-0 draw. In a hard-fought match, VAR ruled out a goal for the Gialloblù for a narrow offside, leaving a bitter taste in the mouths of Coach Guido Pagliuca's team. Pagliuca, satisfied with the result, praised his team for their interpretation of the game.

“The boys played a good game, especially in the early stages, where we managed to apply pressure by going man to man – said Pagliuca –We played very well until the disallowed goal, then we got a bit tired, and the mental aspect took its toll. Despite everything, we're happy with this draw. Catanzaro is a strong team, and playing in such a beautiful environment isn't easy."

On the opposite front, Catanzaro coach Fabio Caserta acknowledged the merits of Juve Stabia, who were able to complicate his team's game. "In the first half, we suffered due to Juve Stabia's skill, who kept a man-to-man approach, hindering our ball possession. We played better in the second half and could have even won it in the final minutes. However, I think the draw was fair. Serie B is like that: you play against teams that force you to play differently.", Caserta explained.

Caserta also had words of affection for the Juve Stabia and Castellammare, a city to which he is deeply attached.
