Juve Stabia, the unexpected leaders of Serie B, are back with the public for the first time this year.
It is not yet the home one but on Sunday evening at the Stirpe in Frosinone (the closest away match after Salerno) there will be almost a thousand Stabiesi. Yesterday in a few hours 600 tickets dedicated to the away sector were pulverized and today and tomorrow the advance sale continues and it is not excluded that we could reach the thousand mark.
A fairytale start to the Serie B season: four goals scored, only one conceded. Seven points in the standings and a joint top spot with Reggiana.
The fans are daydreaming and seem to be reliving last year's triumphant run in Serie C, which began on matchday three, just as this year with the victory against Mantua, obtained on neutral ground in Piacenza, has inebriated the atmosphere.
An upside-down standings, with surprises like Juve Stabia at the top and historic big teams like Sampdoria and Palermo in the lower areas, makes this start to the championship even more exciting.

And this year too, Juve Stabia seems to grace the Serie B stage with the ease of a diva on the red carpet.
"We're happy with our top spot, but we have to keep our feet on the ground," warns president Langella, dampening enthusiasm. "Our goal remains survival." A pragmatic approach that doesn't dampen coach Pagliuca's enthusiasm: "The boys are doing an extraordinary job. I thank the fans who follow us everywhere."
The next match will be in Frosinone, where the Stabia fans are preparing to invade the stadium. "We can only congratulate these guys," Pagliuca reiterates. "We played a great match, despite the fatigue from the travel. Our thanks go to the fans who always support us. But we know what our goal is."
La Juve Stabia, small but determined, is writing a new chapter in its history. A memorable start to the season, but with its feet firmly on the ground and its eyes firmly on the final goal.
