During a targeted operation to combat waste fires in the 'Land of Fires', the Marcianise Forestry Carabinieri, supported by their colleagues from the NIPAAF in Caserta, identified a man burning waste on an agricultural plot near the SP 19 road in Marcianise.
A pile of burning waste consisting of plastic, bags and wood was found on site, as well as three bags of agricultural waste ready to be burned.
Two larger areas, already affected by previous fires, were also discovered, with piles of partially destroyed waste. burned and a thick layer of ash.
