Naples. A new development has emerged in the investigation into the death of Michelle Volpe, the 8-year-old girl who died from injuries sustained when the car she was traveling in with her mother, her partner, and her 16-year-old sister overturned.
The mother, in fact, who was holding her in her arms and without a seat belt sitting next to her partner Francesco D'Alterio who was arrested, was reported at liberty for the same crime.
The victim was Anna Boscaglia, a 37-year-old from Secondigliano who had taken her two daughters from a previous relationship. In addition to the unfortunate victim, little Michelle, her other daughter, Jennifer, 16, was also in the car with them.
The girl was crammed into the small luggage compartment and suffered numerous, non-serious injuries.
