A patrol of the Naples Local Police, Lawyer Operations Unit, while checking a street artist who was performing a musical show, was attacked by two foreign citizens, a man and a woman.
In an attempt to interrupt the checks, they attacked the officers by kicking and spitting, causing injuries to both of them.
With the arrival of another patrol, the two attackers were arrested and subsequently tried in a fast-track trial, receiving a one-year suspended sentence, on the condition that they perform community service for six months, two hours a day, at the offices of the Metropolitan City of Naples.
In another incident on Via Toledo, a patrol from the Lawyers' Operations Unit responded to a shopkeeper's report of a theft. The individual, of Georgian origin, was captured while attempting to flee through the crowd.

In his backpack were found goods with labels from various shops via Toledo. Being without documents and in an irregular situation, he was taken to the Police Headquarters to start the expulsion procedure, pending formal complaints from the shopkeepers.
Elsewhere, a man was reported by the Lawyers' Operations Unit after trying to avoid identification following traffic violations.
After having the passengers get out of the vehicle, he fled while driving, but shortly afterwards returned to the scene, resisting identification, forcing the officers to take him to the office for identification, and he was subsequently reported to the judicial authorities.
Migrant Reported in Vomero for Threatening Passersby
Finally, personnel from the Vomero Operations Unit responded to Piazza Medaglie D'oro for a non-EU citizen who was threatening passersby near a bar. Despite officers' attempts to identify him, the man reacted by throwing a table into the crowd and attempting to flee. When they caught him in the De Bustis market, he elbowed an officer and was later arrested thanks to the intervention of additional patrols.
