Determination, grit, and unity. This is how André-Frank Zambo Anguissa described Napoli's victory over Parma at the Maradona Stadium, a match that saw the Neapolitans overturn the scoreline and take home three crucial points. The Cameroonian midfielder, who scored the decisive goal to make it 2-1, spoke to DAZN, emphasizing the importance of the team's attitude in the second half.
"We saw that when we change our attitude, everything changes ," Anguissa said. " We started poorly, a bit sluggish, but in the second half we came in with a different mentality, pressing man-to-man.
When we play together and show more determination, everything goes well. In the end, what matters are the three points and we hope to continue like this."
Anguissa then praised the work of Antonio Conte, Napoli's new coach, who seems to have brought a different energy to the team: "With Conte, everything has changed ," said the match-winner. " He's a coach who trusts us, supports us, and gives everything for the team.
And we have to do the same for him. On a mental level he has added something special and we are all happy to have him by our side."
