Yesterday morning, the officers of the Poggioreale Police Station, with the support of the Dog Squad of the General Prevention and Public Rescue Office, as part of services set up for this purpose, carried out an inspection at a building in via Miccoli.
The police, inside a cellar used by the suspect, found, well hidden, 42 packages of hashish weighing approximately 4 kg; for this reason the man, identified as a 32-year-old Neapolitan with a police record, was arrested for illicit possession of narcotics.
Furthermore, the operators found, in the condominium hall of the same building, a 22 cal. pistol complete with magazine and 4 cartridges and 2 packages of hashish, which were seized.
