In Prefecture The ninth meeting of the Pnrr Coordination Cabin was held yesterday in Naples. At the meeting, convened by the prefect Michele di Bari and chaired by the deputy prefect Gaetano Cupello.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the PNRR General Inspectorate of the State General Accounting Office, the State Territorial Accounting Office of Naples, the Campania Region, the Metropolitan City of Naples, the Municipality of Naples, as well as, invited for the occasion, the mayors or representatives of the Municipalities of Agerola, Arzano, Bacoli, Boscoreale and Vico Equense.
The trade unions Fillea Cgil and Filca Cisl were also present. Reiterating "the need for the NRRP interventions to be completed within the timeframe, in order to achieve the European Union's objectives," the Deputy Prefect asked those present to illustrate the progress of the NRRP projects.
The Municipality of Agerola has ten PNRR projects, four of which have already been concluded and are in the reporting phase. The works of the remaining projects, among which the one relating to the arrangement of the Sentiero degli Dei is worth mentioning, are in progress, in line with the timescales dictated by the EU.
The mayor of Arznao stated that, at present, there are no critical issues for compliance with the final target set for June 30, 2026. The Municipality of Bacoli announced that for three of the four PNRR interventions the progress of the works has exceeded the 50% threshold. Among these, the urban regeneration intervention that includes the redevelopment of the historic center of Bacoli, for a total amount of over 5 million euros, stands out.
The Municipality of Boscoreale holds the status of implementing body of two urban regeneration projects and a project pertaining to the Integrated Urban Plan of the Metropolitan City of Naples whose works have been awarded and the executive planning is underway.
The Municipality of Vico Equense illustrated the progress of the works related to the five projects financed by the Pnrr, three of which are in the execution phase of the works. The Campania Region, the Metropolitan City, the Municipality of Naples and Anci reiterated that, while waiting for the publication of the Guidelines for the drafting of the Action Plan for the monitoring of Pnrr projects, the resolution of the issues related to the management of cash flows and the reuse of savings, issues already submitted to the competent administrations, is of particular importance.
In closing, the trade unions reiterated their position of listening within the table, acting as an intermediary for the reporting of critical issues by the companies carrying out the works.
